First night out with our loaner motor from Bobby Rudisill of Rudisill Trucking and Excavating. Without his support out season would have been over. Jessie lost both her motors in the last two weeks.
Jessie would like to thank both Bobby for the loan of the motor and her crew for getting it installed and ready for Friday night. Several nights there was Randy, Frank and Doug all working a different pieces to get the car ready. Thanks.
The car and motor ran great. Jessie just missed the feature inversion (first 12 cars from the heats) so she started 15th in the feature. The car and motor were running great. By lap 10 she was in 10th and passing two cars on the outside of turns one and two. One of those on the inside lost it and Jessie ended up against the wall. She was able to continue but by turn three and four it was apparent something was wrong. She came to a stop in front of the start finish line at the same time a caution came out for someone else.
She had a flat right front. The crew was able to change it before the next green, keeping her on the lead lap.
From the back she went on to have one of her best ever driving nights, finishing 8th. All in all a great run.
