5/1/2006 Three Races at Trail-Way Speedway and Three Winners
Congratulations go out to Richard Janney #77J for winning the feature at Trail Way Speedway Friday night. He joins Brad McClelland #6 and Jeff Rohrbaugh #7V as a feature winner in 2006.
Jessie learned the hard way what it’s like with the sun just over the wall in turn #1 and #2. It’s tough to go fast when you can’t see.
Jessie finished 6th in her heat but came back strong in the Consi. There were 31 cars Friday night looking for one of the 24 feature spots. She ran a strong 2nd of 11 for about half the Consi before finishing 2nd to Bob Anderson #81B. That gave her the 22nd spot in the feature.
Doug McGiffin said it best “Her 15th place finish in the feature was a much stronger run than her 11th place finish the race before”. Most of the cars finished on the lead lap. A great run by all, 13 laps to start the race without a caution.
